Guess who was more likely to buy jam and LIKE the jam they brought?
Linx Dating’s Celebrity Matchmakers Have Grown an Invite-Only Dating Network Through Word of Mouth
The ones who saw only 5 kinds of jam! I've been introduced to three of Amy's clients. While i haven't found the love of my life yet, I think I'm most likely to get there through the personalized and well thought out introductions by Linx Dating.
I attended Amy's recent Link and Drink event and had an amazing time. It was at a beautiful venue in San Francisco and was so tastefully put together. Amy is particular about the clients she represents and is very well connected in the Silicon Valley. She is extremely professional and great at what she does. She's told me about various success stories of her clients and you can tell that she's so passionate about what she does, which is an important trait to have as a match maker.
While I'm sure the business of matchmaking can be done in all different ways, Linx is extremely classy and tactful. I'd absolutely recommend Linx to anyone looking to get into the dating scene. You won't be disappointed! I attended one of Linx Dating's "Link and Drink" events and had a fantastic time.
Linx Dating Reviews [Includes Cost, Complaints, & Praise!]
The venue, food and drinks were all great, and I had fascinating conversations with several really interesting people men and women alike. Amy is an amazing host who flittered around the party making introductions and making everyone feel comfortable and welcome. I'm really surprised to see any negative reviews of these events I've been in the dating space as both a dating coach and dating expert at an online dating site in the Bay Area. I have met dozens of dating coaches, matchmakers, pick up artists, image consultants, etc.
I heard a lot of buzz about this Silicon Valley matchmaker, and wasn't sure what to expect. When we met, we connected instantly.
Meet the Woman Who Gets Paid Up to $, Helping the Silicon Valley Elite Find Love
She is professional, yet down to earth. She also has years of experience navigating the tricky microcosm that is the Bay Area, understanding how tech, venture, and entrepreneurs intersect.
Her advice and coaching is real. Forget "be yourself"; Amy will help you understand the "bad habits" that are unknowingly sabotaging your chance at connection. We have developed several pieces of content together, and each piece of content emphasizes the realistic, actionable advice.
While working together, I've also learned first hand about Amy's commitment to client confidentiality; you won't see her on any reality tv shows or discussing your business, she knows that you must be able to trust each other to get the right results. Amy's services are a bigger investment, but when it comes to finding your next serious relationship, there's no better way to spend the money.Dating in San Francisco is like...
I attended a mixer hosted by Amy with Linx Dating and she was the perfect host. The atmosphere was pleasant and everyone who attended was very friendly. If you are on the dating scene and looking to meet the perfect match, Amy is definitely the person you need to "Linx" up with.
I submitted my information to Linx end of and while I am not a premium member paying fees, Amy Andersen reached out about man and wanted to see if I would be amenable to meeting her client. We met and had a great time. What I appreciated was being considered for a match and having had the chance to meet a high quality man who shares many of my foundation values from faith to family life.
Her space is cozy and inviting and gorgeousand it was actually fun to just hang out with her. But mostly, I appreciate all of the personal attention she gave me, even though I'm not even a paying client. It's clear that she loves bringing people together, and I'm grateful I now have someone in my life who is looking out for me.
Regardless of the outcome, I am now positive that connecting with a matchmaker is a refreshing and much-needed way to explore romance in a world of swiping left or right.
I found Amy to be a nice person, the reason I give it 2 stars rather 1. However, I'd advise people to stay clear otherwise. This is one of those things where you'll get swept into paying for one thing, and then another, and nothing ever comes of it if you won't commit to the next. A lot is offered and sold, and I would've saved time and money if I had opted for match. I liked the owner a lot, I wish there would've been follow through to what I was offered. Finding the love of your life at 41, and trying to do so in the crazy bay area dating scene is hard enough, but when one turns to a matchmaker for help, it is always a great act of vulnerability.
Amy Andersen, however, makes it easy to trust. With a high level of professionalism and a friendly interface, Amy listens to and accounts for what you are looking for in a partner. There is no criticism, or cajoling to 'be more open-minded' or small put downs that people may be concerned about. She doesn't tell you 'don't be so picky' which is more than I can say for many friends.
I thought for sure I would not meet anyone, but in a very short time since our first interface she has connected me with two potential quality candidates. The venue was great but traffic was snarled by Vice President Biden visiting that day and shutting down When I got there Amy did not recognize my name or introduce me, I was shoved to the girl next to her and she asked my name on the list.
When I did not give her a business card she asked for a donation for further events? Gee how do I know someone does not pocket the cash for gas money? Then there was the line for drinks with the staff stumbling over themselves trying to take orders and get cash for change. I had two guys cut in front of me without ever making eye contact. Not a very friendly crowd I thought they were a bunch of actors with no speaking parts.
Amy, you need to have some kind of ice breaker or something to get the party started There are a lot of options to meet guys, but as most app daters know it can quickly turn into a second full time job. I saw Amy quoted in a Fast Company article and decided to check out her site.
She has an area where you can submit your information to be considered for her VIP clients. I decided to apply and Amy reached out right away. She has been very responsive and has asked specific deal breaker questions. We are also meeting next week in person. I have been very impressed with her thorough screening to find the right fit for her clients. I appreciate that this saves time on my end too and am hopeful that it could lead to something great - getting matched to one of her high caliber male clients who are ready to find their person and commit!
I haven't met a match yet, but I am excited and hopeful! So far I like the diligent approach and responsiveness of the founder. I noticed a lot of these reviews were based off of the Linx events rather than the actual membership. To sign up, you have to fill in a pretty extensive form, one that really goes over your personal and professional life, and even asks to see pictures of yourself. Upon review, you'll be contacted for a meet with Amy and her team where they'll go over what you're looking for and such.
Now I won't say how much it costs, but I will say it's reasonable for what Linx does and that's a matchmaking service for successful professionals.
I signed up not because I was lacking in dates, but because I wanted something different. My previous girlfriends I met naturally through friends or work, but the whole online experience led to a lot of first dates but not a ton of relationships. This time I thought why not try something that might lead to someone different that would be otherwise difficult to find. Again speaking about my previous relationships, I basically paid for everything When it came to deciding on if I should sign up for Linx or not, I factored in the idea if I did find someone, someone who's a career women, you may actually not need to pay for everything such as travel where some might find it okay to go dutch.
Again, I don't want to sound like a cheap ass, I've paid for every dinner date I've ever had in my life, but this thought did come to my mind A lot I'm sure! So far I've been out with a handful of women and they've all been really pretty, smart, and very interesting! After years of unsuccessful dating in San Francisco, Amy Anderson led me to my husband.
